"My life is based on a true story!"
This might sound a little funny, trite. Isn't that obvious? How can you live an imaginary life? Well, if you ask Eckhart Tolle, he will tell you that not every life is based on true story! In fact many of us live a life based on a fiction...
As we grow up, society hands us colorful trinkets, out of which we fashion an image, a self identity, a conceptual reality – of who we think we are, of who we think we can be, should be- or even allowed to be. Rest of life we spend in living out this conceptual story, my story, my hardships, my victory and defeats. There are though rare moments of truth- when we discover that the fiction in our head does not match up with our 'reality'. What follows is a major shift in life, often reflecting in our work, relationships, creativity and in our ability to be at peace with ourselves and world.
TISA shares following true stories to generate better attitudes and awareness in society. All the stories have been contributed by real, authentic people who stammer, or stammered in past. 'Kamla's story' is a construction based on lives of real women who stammer.
