TISA core team consists of IPWS who are directly involved with TISA goals: Coordintaing Self help groups, networking with other stammering associations, moderating Stammering chat groups, helping in fund raising and other campaigns- and who are available for consultations- web based as well as in person. So, in order to become a core group member, stammering helps- but is certainly not enough!

TISA Core Team

1. National SHG coordinator : Mr Mani Maran, Chennai (assisted by Mr Sivasubramaniam, Mr Hassanand & Mr Vishal) spear heads and nurtures the self help movement in the form of SHGs.
2. Media coordinator: Ms Kiran Cabral, Mumbai interfaces with media, both print and electronic.
3. Networking coordinator: Dr Akash Acharya, Surat: Networking with other associations, academic organizations etc.
4. TISA Corporate coordinator : Mr Sudheendran, Banglore (assisted by Mr Nitin & Mr Amithap)- Interfaces with Corporate sector on various issues.
5. IT administrator : Mr Jai Prakash, Pune (assisted by Mr Manpreet)- leading the IT initiative to promote TISA; enhancement and maintenance of TISA site, blog, groups etc.
6. Editor, website & blog: Mr Nitin Tomer, Delhi, besides editorial inputs, will contribute to Media, Corporate and IT committees. He will also supervise fund-raising campaigns from time to time.
7. Coordinator-at-large : Dr Satyendra Srivastava, Dehradun will coordinate various trainings/ workshops and publication initiatives. He will also look after various TISA committees.

I am Jai Prakash (J.P.) Sunda.I am currently working as a software engineer with an IT firm in Pune. Still not been able to find my passions. I guess, I need more time!

Akash: I have an interdisciplinary academic background and my PhD thesis was on equity impact of micro or community-based health insurance scheme of Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA), a well known NGO at the global level. Sachin: Sachin is a Community Health consultant working in voluntary sector for many years. He lives, with Marian (and two dogs!) near Dehradun. He is fond of trekking, writing and meditation. He received a gift of healing in presence of "Silent Saint of Yamuna Valley" in 2005. He also got a glimpse of what sewa (service) could mean as a Sadhana. Sudheendran A. Sudhi is a Senior Quality Specialist in a leading IT firm in Banglore. He has eight Years of experience in Quality Engineering and Testing activities in IT and more than three Years of experience in Mechanical Construction industry. Have actively participated in ISO 9001 audits, CMM level 5 and CMMI level 5 assessments as Functional Area Representative (FAR) and CMMI Level 3 assessment as Assessment Team Member (ATM).(more)

Mani Maran

I am a senior Engineer working in a Govt of Tamil Nadu Organization. I Started self help group in Chennai in 2001 at Marina Beach. Not bothered about stammering now a days especially after joining TISA!
I believe self acceptance is the key and the first step towards developing better attitude towards everything of value in life, including Communication.

Nitin Tomer: Nitin is 31 years old, and is based in Delhi. He works for an IT product company as a Project Manager. He is married and has two daughters. Besides stammering, other loves of his life are driving, trekking and photography.

The board is in touch constantly and meets at least once a quarter to reveiw and plan. It consists of three members:
