While we have been fairly disciplined in organizing the SHG meetings in Hyderabad, guess we are becoming lazy in posting update on the site. To get over with the backlog, am combining the report on all SHG meetings into one.

We have had 4 meetings in teh past 2 months - 19th June, 27th June, 4th July & 18th July. All of them at the same venue - Krishna Kant Park, Yousufguda as it's convenient for most & known to all by now. Except for the 19th June meeting, which happened on Saturday evening, we have chosen to organize all of the remaining meetings on Sunday morning at 8:00 am, as it was more popular time. We have had good attendance (5-8 folks) in all of these sessions. We have had couple of new members join us - Shiva (works in a Chemical Technology Institute) & Rajesh (a Civil Engineer).

We have tried a range of things over the last 2 months - Voluntary stuttering, practised Bouncing technique, Prolongation technique, Meditation, Breathing exercises & impromptu Presentations. There has been enthusiastic participation from folks on all occasions. On last couple of occasions, we have adopted the techniques from "Comprehensive Stuttering Therapy" ebook, which has some very interesting suggestions and inputs, thanks to Mohan who shared the book with us. I have even taken a wow to practise some of the techniques in a disciplined manner and am currently into the 3rd day successfully (runs for 14 days). I am glad and thankful to each of the SHG group members that this group not only has provided me access to this resource but also provided me with motivation to give it a shot.
